Real Feedback, Real Confidence

I have mountain biked with the active shorts with the hip shields 2 times. I was concerned I would feel the shields while riding, however they seem to mold some with the hip area and I do not notice them. I had a minor fall and landed on my palm and hip. My palm was sore, did have gloves on, felt nothing in the hip area upon impact of afterwards. On a side note, the shorts by themselves are very comfortable. I had tried bulkier hip protection in the past and did not feel confident the shields would stay in place, if/when needed. These shields seem to stay in place very well. I am very pleased so far. Also, the company has great customer service.

Haven’t worn them yet but they are comfortable… just wish they were a bit more high waisted.

I also have a problem with the shorts fitting like hip huggers so I’m guessing I’m long waisted. The xs fits me fine otherwise but I’m wondering if I should order a small instead? Will this solve the issue? When wearing them I have to pull them way up and it’s not comfortable

I'm long waisted, so the shorts were too low on the waist and the leg rode up at the crotch when biking.

I'm so grateful for this product. I wear it all the time and feel confident and less afraid of breaking a hip. Thank you!!
