Full Fit Boxer style with a longer leg. The fabric is a high quality, soft 95% cotton for a trim fit while being light and comfortable to wear. Specially designed with discreet pockets for Phoenix Hipwear Shields, to provide advanced hip protection.
Each set includes Shorts + 1 set of 3D Printed Shields.
If incontinence products such as pads or pull-ups are used, or if you intend to wear these over your normal underwear, please choose ONE size up.

Phoenix Hipwear garments with hip protector shields are designed to protect the hips from injuries in a fall. While they may help lessen the severity of the impact in a fall, it does not guarantee that they will prevent a hip fracture.

I think it is a great idea. However I can’t see wearing them under workout tights without being noticed. Also I had hoped the shorts were of a lighter fabric.

I currently have both the shorts as well as the liners, and I interchange the protection shields. I’m currently doing a ton of hiking in New Zealand and I have worn these pants up to 4000 feet numerous times including going up 2200 stairs. 😲
They are very comfortable and I’m actually do not even notice that I am wearing it, but it gives me an extra layer of confidence and security given that I also have osteoporosis.
I plan to take these shields with me anytime I am hiking, but truthfully, I could wear them every day as well.
I’m hoping that they will come out with more options, including other colors like blue

I’ve been wearing my shorts/shields for horse riding. Very comfy under my riding pants and they do not affect my mobility for mounting, riding and dismounting.
