“I had a hard fall 2 weeks ago on a trail I have done thousands of times. A moment of inattention caused me to trip and fall on my right hip, elbow and FACE. Yup. My sunglasses jammed into my face and I have a huge "shiner" with hematomas below my brow and on my cheekbone. Also a small fracture in my nose from the bridge of the glasses! Blood everywhere from my nose and the gash above my eye. BUT....didn't feel a thing on my hip and was able to walk the 1.5 hours back to my car and drive myself to the emergency clinic. I absolutely will not hike without the protectors.
I am very grateful it was not worse. I got a good work up at the clinic and stitches on my elbow and brow bone.
Those protectors did the job 100%.”
“I’m actually loving my hipwear. I have worn them practically everyday give or take a few days. I’m outside working the majority of the day and have found them to be very comfortable. I do lots of bending and stooping in the garden. I don’t even notice that I am wearing them. It gets very hot and humid in Mississippi so I have to wash them often. They wash very well. I definitely have a sense of security when I wear them. They are extremely comfortable as well.”
