There are 2 options for Underwear. The fabric is a high quality, soft 95% cotton for a trim fit while being light and comfortable to wear. Specially designed with discreet pockets for Phoenix Hipwear Shields, to provide advanced hip protection.
Brief - This style has a higher leg. It is only available in 4 sizes - S, M, L, XL. For a wider range of sizes the Full Fit Boxer is the best option.
Full Fit Boxer - This is a full boxer style with a longer boy leg. The body and gusset of this style is much roomier so it is not as fitted. This style has the widest range of sizes.
Each set includes Shorts + 1 set of 3D Printed Shields.
If incontinence products such as pads or pull-ups are used, or if you intend to wear these over your normal underwear, please choose ONE size up.

Yesterday I tried out my new Phoenix Hipwear on a hike. My hiking pants fit easily over the boxers/shields. I was barely aware that I was wearing them. Very comfortable. As you can see from the pix I’ve attached, the shields really aren’t visible. I so appreciate this extra level of protection as I want to continue to remain physically active as I age. I’m very satisfied with my purchase.
I feel so good about having that extra security. I’ve put on a pair of hiking pants, and love that you really don’t notice the shields underneath - they are very discreet.

This is me with my hip protectors. They are barely noticeable and soo very comfortable. I love them! I feel so much safer now. I have osteoporosis and bilateral hip replacements and I have always been worried about falling. Thank you for all your help!

I had questions before ordering and Phoenix Hipwear responded quickly and in great detail. I chose the boxer underwear because I like a looser fit. The fit is great. Loose enough to be comfortable and tight enough to hold the protection in place. The hip guard is quite flexible and comfortable and I will be able to wear my own workout pants on top comfortably. The underwear is very high quality. I am so happy and I plan to recommend this to my friends with osteoporosis. Best way to stay active is to stay safe.

Customer service with Phoenix Hipwear is wonderful. I love that the underwear is so comfortable and is cotton. It feels easy to wear and the pockets place the shields correctly over the hips. The shields are quite thin and mold to my body easily so are not noticeable under clothing. Also I love that this company is woman-owned. And I appreciate the protection that this product provides.
